Dara Gibson has developed and managed cybersecurity services for almost 10 years. She is now the owner and CEO of Cybersecurity Readiness Advisors, a cybersecurity company serving public and private organizations by providing expertise on cybersecurity readiness. By blending innovative technologies, unique skill sets, and proven cyber strategies, she creates lasting partnerships with clients to protect shareholder value and corporate reputations. As a nationally recognized information security leader, Dara fosters expertise in relationship management with industry-leading cyber insurance and legal providers for proactive and reactive cybersecurity capabilities. She designs overall business risk-reducing cybersecurity insurability and awareness programs.

During her tenure in security, Dara initiated the launch of the cyber insurability services program, which has positively impacted enterprise organizations, cyber insurance carriers and brokers, and cybersecurity attorney partnerships. This initiative has reduced the risk of cyber incidents and improved the speed of recovery by modernizing programs and assessments with the cyber insurance industry. The creation of Insurability Controls has integrated cybersecurity maturity into risk management programs. She currently serves as the President of InfraGard Arizona, working in collaboration with the FBI, and is an honoree of the Women in Security Forum Power 100. Additionally, she is the Co-Founder of WiCyS Arizona.

Dara has served the industry in management and director capacities, with expertise in business development and marketing

operations for cyber law firms and cyber insurance companies. She has focused on MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider)

Services, Pre-Breach Consultation Services, Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) Services, and Post-Breach

Consultation Services. Dara earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Northern Arizona University.
